The summer camp of "real estate business and city operation" joined by Xiamen University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology which was undertook by Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering of Xiamen University, officially opened,  on Jul.17, 2016. The joint summer camp is an international summer camp (summer school + workshop), hosted by Samuel tak lee estate entrepreneurship Lab(STL Lab) of the graduate school of Xiamen University and Massachusetts institute of technology, and the MIT international science and technology planning (MISTI) and co-organized by department of urban studies and planning (DUSP) and real estate center (CRE)of the Massachusetts institute of technology , school of management and school of economics of Xiamen University and the urban planning society of Xiamen city. The campers was composed of outstanding graduate students and  recommended admission students of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the 14 domestic universities. The project was supported by special funds of Xiamen university.
